A Newbie's Sailor Moon Page
Oooooooo.. a Newbie Page!
Now you all may be wondering.. why do I call this a Newbie Page? Well.. because I'm a
Sailor Moon newbie! :) My new obsession began just a few short weeks ago. I was
watching Disney's "Gargoyles" on USA one morning, but then I thought I had a little more
time before class, so I stayed to watch what was coming on next. It said "Sailor Moon".
Well, I had heard about it from my friends and seen some of the merchandise, so I decided
to just take a quick peek. Yeah.. right. My very first episode was "The Cosmetic Caper", I think.
I was hooked with the first scene, the one with Darien's nightmare about how he and Serena should
not be together and it was dangerous for them if they stayed together. Being a hopeless romantic at heart,
I rooted all for the show for Darien to ignore that dream.. but he didn't, the twerp! I even woke up my
roommate with my raving at the TV! I couldn't believe how into it I was. In fact, I started planning
fanfic during classes that very day! But that was just the beginning.
The next episode I saw was "Checkmate", which I liked just as much as the first episode I'd seen.
Some weeks passed, then I just had to get up and see what was happening! What happened was they dumped me
right back at the beginning. I was going "Hey, where's that cute little pink-haired girl? And most of the girls?
The episode I was dropped into was "Time Bomb". I sat, watched, and yawned. It just wasn't as good! I was slightly
discouraged, but not too much. Then I saw "Wedding Day Blues" and got hooked again. Now I have to get up and see
SM every chance I get, and I've been surfing the 'Net like crazy! I now know alot more about the show, and I
even noticed a Haruka down the virtual city street from me! Have to go check her out...
So there you have it! My full confession! I am now SM obsessed! As time goes on, since I've seen so many jaded pages of
pros who've seen the show millions of times, I thought I'd do my own comments on the episodes I've seen! A newbie's point
of view, you might say! I'll have alot more here soon, but until then, here's the place I learned the most from!

cooking up! A sort of.. after the official end of the series in Japan.. we need a new protagonist and villan, do we not? ;)
